Tesla Powerwall 3 is a whole-home battery system that stores energy from solar panels or the grid and delivers it on demand — day, night, or during an outage. Unlike previous generations, Powerwall 3 has an integrated solar inverter built in, meaning fewer components, faster installation, and higher efficiency. Solar is not at all necessary, as Powerwall 3 is a fantastic generator alternative.
