Sonos Installation in Vancouver and the North Shore
Bourne Electric designs and installs Sonos sound systems across West Vancouver, the North Shore and Greater Vancouver: in-ceiling and in-wall speakers, TV and home theatre sound, and outdoor speakers for patios and decks. Every room can play its own music, or the whole house can play together, from the Sonos app.

In-ceiling and in-wall speakers
Sonos Architectural speakers, made by Sonance for Sonos, sit flush in the ceiling or wall, so music fills the room without a speaker in sight. They’re powered by Sonos Amp, and one Amp can run up to three pairs.
We plan speaker and Amp locations room by room, run the wiring, and tune in-ceiling and in-wall speakers with Sonos Trueplay.
TV and home theatre sound
A Sonos Arc or Beam soundbar under the TV, with a Sonos Sub and rear surround speakers, turns a living room or media room into a home theatre. When the movie’s over, it plays music like any other Sonos room. Together with Sony and Samsung TVs, we build home theatres of any size.
Outdoor speakers
Sonos Outdoor speakers, also made by Sonance, are built for patios, decks and backyards, and run from a Sonos Amp like the in-ceiling speakers. Play the same music inside and out, or give the deck its own.
Sonos with Lutron lighting control
In a home with Lutron RadioRA 3, Sonos works alongside your lights and shades. Lutron keypads and the Lutron app can control your music, so one button can set the lights, lower the shades and start the music, and Lutron audio Pico remotes put play, pause and volume on the wall of any room.
How a Sonos project runs
Walkthrough. We go room by room: where you listen, which rooms play together, where the TV goes and which outdoor spaces need sound.
Design. You get a plan showing every speaker, Amp and soundbar, and how they connect to your network.
Installation. Licensed electricians cut in the speakers, run the wiring and install the Amps and home theatre equipment.
Setup. We set up each room in the Sonos app and tune in-ceiling and in-wall speakers with Trueplay.
Handover. We walk you through the Sonos app, and the Lutron controls if you have RadioRA 3.
